pretty irked by my 4x4x4 rubik's. the problems keep going round and round in circles. yeah, so i thought i'll take a break and randomise my blog.

we disected this for bio the other day. it was so fun.

seriously oral, especially chinese, has got to be one of the most nerve racking, nail biting exam. thank goodness the examiners were pleasent and i managed to amuse them with my lack of proper speech and my stumbling bumbling tongue tied mouth. i was literally trying to spit out the words i wanted to say. my mouth just didn't listen to me.

and Thank God the question was one i did before. at least i understood the question.

First day of term 3

was like blehh.

we had 2 hours of maths and i was in school from 7.10am until 5.20pm

school will be the death of me one day

and my brother just poured 70 balls down the stairs.

my gosh.

from Tuesday 9pm to wednessday 5pm i watched 5 movies. talk about movie marathon man! thats was like 5 movies in 19 hours which is about 1 movie every 3.8 hours. woah.

1. Perfect Catch. at first i thought it was about fishing?! haha t'was okay. all about a school teacher cum baseball fanatic, yes i mean fanatic, falling in love with some lady and he learnt not to be so crazy about baseball? haha. not entirely that sure about the plot anyhow but i'm not a baseball fan so it was just okay only.

2. Just my Luck. hmmm. the best out of the three we watched on tuesday night. a lot of people said it wasn't nice but i think it's not half bad. though i kind of dislike Lindsay Lohan, it was quite funny seeing her being 'unlucky'. haha. hilarious. not a bad story too. oh and also the 4 really fit (as they say in britan) guys...mmmm.

3. Elizabethtown. been wanting to watch that for a long time. one of the few movies Orlando Bloom actually wears normal clothes. really, he's previously been an elf (Lord of the Rings), a pirate (Pirates of the Caribbean) a crusade? (kingdom of heaven), a Trojan? (Troy). haha. but i really don't get the story of it. perhaps i was too sleepy to follow it, it was 3am in the morn. but Kristen Dunst was cute.

4. Hairspray. yes again. All time favourite of ours. my mum loves it so much haha. me too. fantastic story and awesome songs. plus a few cute guys :)

5. Sound of Music. it rained all day and we couldn't go out at all so we pulled out another musical, a classic. a real classic musical, Hairspray will be one someday . talking about classic musicals i don't know why but i really want to watch Grease :P

i know i'm such a slacker.

3 more days and a gazillion megabillion more pieces of homework to go. i'm so doomed.

and today i'm feeling:

happy, annoyed, sad in a way, lazy, determined, excited, satisfied yet not...

i'm absolutely dreading school. awww. the break is coming to an end and i still haven't finished my HOMEWORK.

oh darn. and i have no idea why i'm bloging about this, perhaps to take my mind off the horribly hard and long heymath quizes.

anyway i saw Juno the other day and i have one thing to say: if you haven't watched it yet you haven't lost out on anything. it really sucks. though it has dunno how many academy awards and nominations blah blah blah it's got no story and it's just all about America's twisted culture. it really disgusted me in a way. so out of all the great movies i've seen this has got to be one of the worst. or maybe it's just too mature themed or too surreal themed but it gets 2 thumbs down from me.

less about terrible movies, movie good ones tonight. Movie Marathon here i come!

wahoo man!

sentosa byte and optimist championships is over! alright. but, actually i was enjoying myself quite a bit and it's pretty sad really and this was probably the last time i'll race on the byte in a major competition. interschools don't count because there are so little ppl. no fun :(

awwwww. it's suddenly so sad. i'll really miss competitons and competing as a team, playing out at sea hijacking people's boats and all that good hard fun. of course and also the competition itself, the 70 plus ppl on the start line, fighting for good starts, intimidationg others by shouting and just the pure competitive spirit and determination during the race. i'll really miss all that.

mmmm. anyway today we only did one race because the wind was utterly light. actually i was pretty peaved when we finished beacuse i finished 34 out of 72 in the SILVER fleet. that's really screwed up. i expected like below 10 at least but the wind denied me of it. stupid wind. but i guess i cooled down really fast because the rest started to hijack each others boats and it was really funny watching them capsize each other and throw bags of water and stuff all over the place.we had a lot of free time to play as the OD boat couldn't make up their mind to race or not. then they all targeted me and i forgot my disapointment in trying to run away. haha! they caught up anyway and louis capsized me and soon i was in the water. really really fun. cooling at the same time. sigh. i'll miss all of them so so much. don't wanna stop training. :(

so i ended up 13th out of 72. okay la. if i had done better in the last race i could have been top 10. oh well.

sailing rocks man. i think sailing is one of the best sports  ever and i absolutely LOVE it.

oh! and i am really really brown now. the sun was terribly hot today. i have around 6 bruises and my fingers have blisters all over. BUT my hair is now brown! sort of. hehe. free dye! :D

simply ouch.

i have the weirdest tan in the world which is ultra super red and it hurts. i also have bruises on my shoulder cus i fell into my boat this morning and yesterday i whacked myself with the tiller, on the face!

it's friday the thirteen, an unlucky day and yes EVERYthing went wrong today. all i wanted was to drop a few position so i'll be in the silver fleet but i screwed up all the races today :( final position: 82 out of 140. that's a 15 position drop! aw man. haha but still 10 in front of Zeng Woon.

well i'm obviously in the silver fleet so gotta do well and maybe i can win something :) btw the silver fleet is the bottom half of all the sailors. the gold fleet mainly consist of the national squad sailors and i could have worked hard and get into the gold fleet but what's so nice about being the bottom of the top? i'd probably get last anyway. i may as well be the top of the bottom and win a medal :D and that's what i'm going to do.

so that's day 3. two more days!
