yesterday's wind was quite-make-everyone-capsize-alot strong
even i had difficulty sailing in it.
i was on the powerboat most of the time,
but it was really really really cold. the wind was strong, the waves were so high that every time the coach drives over one it splashes and flies in my face. me and estee were drenched sitting there.
really really hard to take pictures in all this.coach was driving so fast that i had to rig up a rope to hold on. i almost flew off once.see how much splash i got sitting there. even his seat is wet.look at the HOT sun! despite the gonna-rain weather.
i'm a seriously sunburnt sailor.

now i know what it feels like to be taught by my mum in school. its kinda fun. though its weird,
its cool.

i haven't the inspiration to write a long post.

note to self:
NEVER eat garlic and peppermint together!

situation:
i had some garlic bread for lunch and it was a little hot (cos of the strong garlic taste, and i like garlic btw) and my mouth kinda smelt like garlic so i thot i could get rid of the smell by eating a peppermint sweet. haha
i put it into my mouth and it was like WOAH. so HOT! as if i ate a whole clove of garlic plus pepper all at once. it wasnt pleasent. so never never try that okay. and it DOES NOT get rid of the garlic-ky smell.

okay, enough of my self-inflicted problems

actually i don't really like this new house system and was really dreading the implementation of the system and wanted to pour out all my complaints onto my blog BUT i decided against it. besides, complaining is really not my cup of tea.
anyway today after our very first house meeting, i think it won't be so that terribly bad to have that dreadful system back in school. though im still quite disspointed that they have done-away with our interclass events that i'm sure many do enjoy.
well let's not dwell of cons and instead look to the positives(i'm sure there's some)

positives:

  • cheering. i enjoy cheers, but cheers are not fun if there are no enthu ppl to cheer.
  • a new tshirt to add to my collection of TK tshirts, which is really filling my cupboard. besides, with everyone wearing diff colours we'll have a COLOURFUL school =]
  • inter-house games? not really a positive part, based on past experiences...
  • making new friends, something the school wants us to do. i guess u'll never have too many friends.

so i hope that this new house system can prove me wrong that house systems are BAD.

however i WILL NOT indulge in chemical warfare between houses
meaning don't come telling me that your house is better and go around boasting because i DON'T care. please have consideration. i dont want to hurt anyone.

haha. take my word, i'm no hostile person but i'm an admittedly quite against self praise and boasting. i don't know why. take no note of it. =]

so, about the bazaar, oh wait. i need to go eat dinner. stay tuned for more bazaar updates!
(haha, as if this is a really popular broadcasted channel, which it is so not.)

the sky is really getting dark. not only because its 7.30pm but cos' it's gonna storm. at least i hope so. another sleep-peacefully night ahead!

Friday 19 October 2007

today, we were sleeping during training.
"i heard u say sleeping"
yeah. i did. haha you'll probably not hear this form any other CCA.
okay, we aren't really allowed to sleep during training (we not that slack okay!) but still we managed to get some shut-eye.
the wind was terribly terribly light today, thanks to that storm which wet my bag on the way to sch. though we tried to convince our coach that the wind wasn't suitable for sailing he still made us go out. he should have listened to us. we went out, drifted around, sailed without rudder (kinda like driving a car without a steering wheel) and found that sound travels really far in light wind cos me and my junior shouted at Zeng Woon, who was like a few hundred metres away, and he still responded. anyway it was so boring that we probably would have fallen asleep while sailing anyway so couah came to tow us back. after tying (is this how you spell tying?) our boats together, he took like 20 mins to tow us back while we used that 20 minutes to take a nap =D
we were lying in the boat as it sailed through the calm sea, slowly bobbing up and down as the waves gently crashed into the sides of our boats, rocking it slightly, listening to the soothing hum of the motor boat tugging us along, with the light breeze blowing in our faces, who wouldn't fall asleep?after that we played in the water.

i have no idea why my posts are so short. rather i haven't the foggiest how people are able to write such long chunks of words. how they make such long posts?(pictures don't count) haha. this is about all i can manage. for now.
there's just nothing to really talk about.
is there?

ANYONE WANT A GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUP?

he is so adorable. this pet shop called Pets Parade(i think) and they are selling this 5 mth golden pup at a relatively low price. he is paper trained and very obedient. plus he's cute!
i guess if u want a golden retriever pup u can go and have a look =D he should still be there. the pet shop is on Telok Kurau lorong L.
we wanted to adopt him, cos my parents really fell in love with him BUT i already have my own darling doggie. and sadly the house hasn't anymore space for another.
this is the girl golden retriever. but apparently she is a little more playful than the boy.
my phone molted. haha. its pink now. this was random =P

btw. i haven't anymore cousins left. i just realised that.okay i still have 3 but the rest are overseas. half my family is overseas. ah. i'm a sad case. most of them are in Australia, the rest in Belgium. WHY did they have to migrate?

so those with cousins, treasure them!

about the death penalty debate just now, though i wasnt really listening but i support the preposition!
YES, death penalties should be abolished.
i think that everyone should be given a chance to change, and everyone deserves to be forgiven no matter what they did.
everyone deserves a life, the very most they are jailed for life but hey, they still gotta life left. revenge should never be the solution. revenge leads to hatred, something the world has already enough of. so what would you benefit from seeing your loved one's killer dead? will it bring back the one you lost?yeah it will satisfy your grief for a moment but wouldn't you feel better if you forgave the person instead? Forgiveness should always come before revenge.

"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Colossians 3:13

ah. for those who didn't see me in sch today, i was at home sleeping. >.<
blame the STUPID DUMBDUMB alarm clock. it didn't wake me up. i only realised that i kinda slept in when it was like 8am? Grrrr. time to get a new clock.

anyway.
i totally enjoyed myself yesterday at pasir ris park!!!! =D but wish i had a camera to capture the absolutely fun time we had. it was great being together as 2C again, though not everyone was there it was nice to feel the 2C-ness again. its kinda scary. we ain't 2C anymore. we're not even 3-anything anymore. we're gonna be 4-something. Gosh. time flies, but at least we were having fun.

yesterday the guys were great.the gals were great too. the playground was awesome and fun. nice to be back playing like a kid again. the weather was super. Thank God! i was praying really hard yesterday for the weather to clear up by 2.30 and hey, it did. the games were FUN and the food was fab. yesterday was a great awesome super fun fabulous day.

stuff i wanna do after exams(now):

  1. learn how to use photoshop to the fullest
  2. do some art like canvas painting and oil painting.
  3. make my own oil painting mural
  4. learn how to do flash
  5. make a picture diary of this year's australia trip using flash(since we got so many pictures)
  6. try and make my own claymation =P
  7. photography? but first i need a camera.
  8. learn how to make blogskin. i'm tired of having one that others have.
  9. get chinese from a F9 to er...a grade that's not F9. gotta slog again

and lots more, just that i cant think of them at the moment.

places i'm probably going during holidays (this list is prior to change):

  1. bintan indonesia. going with my friends =] i forgot when. somewhere in december
  2. camping at Sister's island. date not confirmed. i feel people should go camping rather then go on shopping holidays. because its loads more fun and it DOES NOT drain your bank account=P
  3. trip to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. okay. shopping trips can be fun=] besides i seriously need a school bag. i oso wanna go and stand at the bridge in between the petronas towers .that'd be cool!
  4. sailing camp! looking forward to it. afterall i planned it.

not alot of places eh? i'm no traveller. the furthest i've been is japan, maybe australia. but i wish i could travel more. this is the result of having of having a big family-air tickets alone costs a BOMB.
