i was really going to come home and rant on and on about how boring and how school really sucked today. boy did it suck, it was so brain-killing, sleep-inducing boring. actually i don't even know why it felt like such a drag. and i was 150% amazingly right, not surprising really, about my physics test. totally flunked-out-of-the-freaking-window bad. i betcha i got total bottom in class. Yup, i suck at pretty much everything.

BUT, teachers also have their own woebegone remedies. okay well poor Mdm Rozy didn't really have i choice i guess. hope her sore throat and lost voice gets better (: yeah but her cancelling our supplementary today sent us all into ecstacy. we were literally jumping up and down, off the walls with joy. going home smack at 2pm was such a great priviledge privilege (darn, i still can't spell that word), one that we took for granted in lower sec. now it's simply a wish come true.

so i guess i'll just conclude that today was an okay day. considering that the good stuff canceled the bad out.

yet, i'm still guilty of slacking. if ever there was a prize for the most slacking, procrastinating student i'd probably win it hands down. still gotta work hard, even though MJC accepted me (:

Rachel harmony day

oh yes. nah, it's Racial Harmony day.

we had a talk in the morning, argurably the most boring  and longest talk we've ever ever had. i'm still puzzled why the school got an accountant to talk on racial harmony day. hmmm. anyway he talked for like 8.15 until 9.10 plus and he ended up just promoting SMU. not like i'm going there any time soon. Grrr. bored out of my skull.

recess was, well, just recess. then we had the KDB sessions (KDB actually meant Know-Do-Be which is a weird name) where our group won the quiz. (:

then english test and it became another of the gazillions of english tests that i've screwed up. i worte the crappiest essay in the universe and a speech that no one would enjoy listening to. i'm so rubbish at english.

PUNCHLINE: I shoulda' STAYED HOME TODAY

yay for me. i wasted a day.

i want a Rachel Harmony day. a day where everybody gets to stay home, do whatever you want and not be subjected to long, boring, time-wasting talks.

lonely and rainy

i just love the rain. people often feel that rain brings sadness and gloom but to the contrary i think rain is refreshing and cooling. it brings wonderful feelings of comfort and pleasentness. it is always rain that washes any negative thoughts and feelings away. i enjoy the rain and i always feel joyful knowing that God is watering the flowers, trees and providing for nature around us.

the feeling after the rain though, is amazing.

but i hope that the rest of my family is not that wet. they're on sister's island. yes, without me.I, however am stuck at home with the cat. pretty cool actually, being alone at home.

still, GAH i'm pretty peaved. media rubbish sucks...DIZZEE RASCAL sucks. he'd better not get no.1 in the UK charts tomorrow. why do i care so much about the UK music charts lol?  Sorry, it's irrelevant to everyone here, but i had to put my frustration somewhere...

plus, the lucky UK people are getting Radio:ACTIVE free tomorrow with the papers. why don't we get free albums in the newspaper here in Singapore? ahh just ship me off to england already.

i'm off the enjoy the quietness of the house.

SGC's killing me. i've no brain juice to write anymore. today was utterly exhausting. for starters, we had 3 whole periods of CHEMISTRY. Mrs Yap didn't come. bummer. and it's monday again so it means the horrible 4 periods or 2 hours or 120 minutes of MATHS. woah. brain? dead long before physics test-which i'm going to flunk anyway.

so by the time i got home, sat down and looked at the unfinished SGC, no more brain cells to do anything, let alone write an essay about myself. i kind of hate writing about myself. sometimes i feel untruthful writing some stuff as i know that sometimes i fail to live up to the crazily high standards i bluff about. then again, i am probably the only one who knows so much about myself and only i can do the testimonial justice. still, to write about yourself you must dig into the inner you, sometimes hitting rather bitter subjects. heck, what am i blabbling about?

i know, i know i am a boring blogger :P

sometimes i feel like i'm in a tank. drowning in my books and notes and what-have-you-not.

my cousins are back in Singapore! yeah it's cool cos i've missed them so so much! i must say they've grown a mightly lot. they'll be staying for a month and it's gonna be quite fun (: gotta make them teach me Dutch!

people come, people go. my cousins came to visit but Cherie left for Australia to study this morning. See what i mean about everybody moving away to stupid Australia?! why oh why move there? so now the tally of friends and family in Australia comes up to 8? and rising. maybe i'll go too. take university there. but oh i'll miss her so much. i've known cherie like forever, really i can't even remember meeting, her i just knew her. hope she has fun there and she better come back soon (:

Ms low should get a prize for being so extra nice to us today. first we finished watching kung fu hustle, which is okay la cos i've seen it before and i think it's a little gruesome the way they punch each other. then when it finished Ms low was like "watch another movie? then we postpone ting xie to thurs" or something along those lines. that's incredibly cool! haha. since when do we get to watch movies during chinese and  get ting xie postponed all at once? i love chinese teachers (: can school get any better?

the underdogs

it's over.

my 4 years of sailing in TK is gone, done with.

most of my seniors were super extremely excited, joyful, when they reached this stage - they no longer had to put up with the dreaded grueling painstaking chore of a CCA. Contrary to their outspoken emotions, i was pretty woeful yesterday when they raised AP over A, marking the final end to my racing on byte. it's was quite a saddening event, after 2 and a half years racing on the byte, i doubt i will get to race in it ever again.

the prize giving was also quite a stressful thing for me. it's upsetting to watch the prize winners go up in front to receive their prizes and for some even more upsetting, knowing that i used to be part of their team and we used to win together. people like Melissa and Cassandra, they won something for TKG yesterday. we all used to be part of the Champion Optimist girls team from St Hilda's then in 2004. Including Daniella, who is now in the National squad, they are all winning prizes left and right and i'm stuck in the back, just merely watching. what's worse even my ex-juniors are high flyers, who marched up front looking smart in their school blazers, grinning from ear to ear proud to win something for their school. that's something i miss very dearly. the amazing feeling and pure,absolute joy, knowing that your team have come in champions is indescribable and something i left behind. yet, it's no ones fault and i have ABSOLUTELY no regrets whatsoever about coming to TK and i really dread leaving.

but sad times are over, temporarily, so on to the BBQ! we had great, great fun.

i am extremely COMPLETELY uttly EXHAUSTED. sailing is one of the best sports around the certainly one of the most TIRING.

i have never sailing 5 races in one day before and i think the OD boat today was crazy. yes we had 5 races all with quite strong wind and gigantic monsterous waves. i reckon the wind was at least 8 to 10 knots today and it was quite terrible. by the time we got to the 5th race, wow, i couldn't hold the mainsheet no more. my hands really really hurt now.

the races on the whole was alright. overall i'm 21st out of 51 byte B girls in Singapore. not too bad. but needa buck up tomorrow.

i'm in no mood to type anymore. my fingers don't wanna type anymore anyways.

tomorrow: do our BEST. kick some ass. have fun and look forward to the BBQ! oh yeah! tomorrow will be a fun day (:

by the way i doubt anyone will actually come to support us. haha. sailing is like a secret sport. no one really knows what we do cos no one has actually seen us sail. it's slightly annoying but i kinda like it. special secret sport. BUT, supporters are always welcome! maybe you can come for the BBQ later on.

no one really enjoys reading about my sailing do they? :P
