madness.

i'm sure everyone has seen normal rubik's cubes. the 2x2x2, the 3x3x3, the 4x4x4 and 5x5x5. but have you seen these?

tonys-335-1

3x3x5. there are only 30 of these in the entire world. cool huh.

2x2x4-1

2x2x4? looks cool

2x2x4-5

you can do this...

2x2x4-4

you can even do this.

don't ask me how to solve that. i don't know.

nice colours (:

4x4x5-3

4x4x5. wow.

2layer-cheece3

this one's called 2-layered cheese. i can tell why.

skewbbrick3

these are the skewbbrick. believe it or not there's only 16 pieces of this in the world.

cyl-cube1

cyl-cube2

interestingly this one's called the cylinder-cube.

 g2-2

 star prism

star prism. lovely in my opinion.

kite-cube1-4

then there's the kite. really looks like a kite. haha (:

now, onto the scary ones...

Digital Camera

this looks freakily scary. must be a nightmare trying to solve it. it's called the 7x7x7 vcube by the way.

tonys-dodecahedron

the Dodecahedron. actually i wouldn't say this actually looks very daunting. yet i'm sure it's a pain when it comes to solving it.

tonys-oc3

 tonys-overlapping

the overlapping cube. yikes!

cubeoctahedron

the Cubeoctahedron. if i had one in my hands i doubt i'll even know how to turn it, let alone solve it.

Digital Camera

Digital Camera

that's just like woah. the Icosahedron Megaminx.

Digital Camera

rhomball. that's like freaking oh my gosh. hahaha.

london-cube1

london-cube2

there's even a cube with a map on it. haha. if you get lost you still have to solve the puzzle first. it's a map of london by the way.

last, but of course not least, sort of...

1x1x2-1

we've seen the hardest so now the easiest! 1x1x2.

this isn't all though. just a small part of the many variations ever made. more here though: http://puzzle-shop.de/start-museum.html . but the website can be a little troublesome.

i'm so loving the olympics now. the athletes are amazing. hats of to them - i'm sure all of them worked so very hard for this. also big congrats to Michael Phelps! he picked up his 7th gold already. jia you Phelps! you can beat Mark Spitz record!

oh yeah and i've realised that the smell i hate most in the world has got to be garbage. Yeaughhh. the worst smelling thing in garbage: old coffee powder and banana peels. double YUCK.

i'll be getting back to the TV now. Badminton mens single bronze match and the first EPL match of the 2008/2009 season - Arsenal and West Brom on now.

ciao!
